I use Twitter daily, I
often get asked if being on a social network is really important for the
success of a business.� I know it has helped me find interesting things
and people. I am now reading a book that says YES, it is
very important especially now when most people go to the web first for everything
they need or want.� Why?� Because people are looking to their
social networks to give them advice and special offers.� I am not very deep into the book yet, so check the

I do agree that having a social web
footprint (newly created term by me to encompass more than social networks
and social media) is important.� Different media and different networks work
depending on the type of business or how it wishes to interact with present
and potential customers.� With that in mind, I started a 3-part series
